Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by focusing on operational elements of the business to include back-of house production, holiday planning, product quality, labor, food safety, facilities, and P&L review. This role reports to the Regional Manager and has significant responsibilities across the 21 stores in the Atlanta region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist with building the talent in the district through the interviewing, selection, and development of Store Supervisors and Assistant Managers; provide input in decisions regarding promotion, performance appraisals, training and development
Ensure stores maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor adherence to loss prevention procedures
Verify store administrative procedures are executed within company guidelines
Oversee product quality with product evaluations, QAD, OER, and quality checks
Manage COGS through variance report, yields, disciplined EOM procedures, and core product POHEs/TOHEs, and financial reports
Holiday planning and BOH execution
Holiday and non-holiday scheduling
Assist Regional Manager with budgeting process
Monitor vacation/sick/personal days of management teams
WHAT WE THINK YOU'LL NEED
An Associate's degree or general business knowledge equivalent to an associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of multi-unit management experience with demonstrated success across multiple metrics (sales, customer satisfaction, etc.). Restaurant/food industry experience required.
Demonstrated ability to select, coach, and develop high performing teams. Strong communication, organizational and planning skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
Thorough understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, and controllable costs. Must be ServSafe certified - a certified instructor is preferable.
Must be able to do a significant amount of travel within the Atlanta metro region, primarily by automobile - this requires that you have (or be able to obtain) a Georgia driver's license and have/maintain a good driving record.
Note: this role is in preparation for a District Manager position, so must be relocatable to any district within 2+ years.
