This includes developing customer segments, relevant content and automated marketing that delivers a premium digital experience that is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
The role is based in our headquarters in Alpharetta. NOTE: we have a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Own lifecycle marketing automation strategy and implementation, including triggered flows and enhanced personalization.
Develop and manage strategic approach for customer segmentation, content, messaging, campaigns, and triggered communications across the customer lifecycle.
Manage, design and evolve marketing promotions, loyalty, seasonal hiring, fundraising, transactional, cart-abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns and triggered communications. Support field marketing team and franchise marketing ESP.
Create, monitor and optimize complex lifecycle optimizer flows, triggers and automations with static, dynamic, and personalized content.
Create and execute email marketing calendar, and eventually multi-part marketing campaigns across email, SMS/MMS and push notifications.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors help launch SMS/MMS and mobile app push notifications.
Translate approved campaign branding and messaging to email, SMS/MMS and push notifications using templates and approved copy; develop original on-brand designs and copy for various channels as needed.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across all touchpoints in layout, design, links, subject lines, list segments, and message copy.
Manage testing process to ensure emails are accurate and deploy on time.
Coordinate the end-to-end production process for campaign deployments, including post-campaign analysis.
Monitor, report and analyze key email metrics while proactively communicating opportunities, trends, key insights and challenges.
Troubleshoot technical issues, list segmentation, and other aspects of email/web execution, collaborating with internal IT resources, external developers and ESP as needed.
Act as day-to-day contact with ESP and associated vendors.
YOUR TRACK RECORD
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) along with 2+ years' experience in email marketing. Experience with ESPs - Sailthru is a plus - as well as project management tools like Asana. Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is important, along with familiarity with payloads. Must be fluent in HTML and CSS to debug emails - advanced programming, coding or development skills are a big plus!
Experience in the retail, ecommerce, restaurant or hospitality industry a plus. Knowledge of best practices in mobile design and customer engagement. Deep understanding of customer segmentation, list management, deliverability, testing, data analytics, mobile optimization, and CAN-SPAM compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative and on-brand content ideas. Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task with competing projects/deadlines.

Typically requires periodic, sometimes overnight, travel up to 5% of the time.
