Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by being responsible for the strategy and execution of email content, segmentation and personalization of subscribers and deliverer of CRM key insights. This includes strategizing a content calendar and improving experiences across company websites as well as exploring current experiences and identifying new discoveries to lead a premium digital consumer experience that is on-brand, aligns to the content mission, and is consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice.
The role is based in our headquarters in Alpharetta - our work schedules are a hybrid, with three days in the office and two days work from home!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Act as day-to-day contact with email service provider(s) and associated vendors. Organize strategy sessions with key contacts to continually analyze efforts to ultimately improve email strategy and support key business goals
Strategize, create and execute email marketing calendar
Coordinate and communicate email marketing efforts across all company communication channels (including the Hub and internal teammates who communicate to company stores and franchisees). Include high-level key learnings when appropriate for franchisee/company store education.
Collaborate with multiple departments/individuals internally and external vendors/partners to develop and support effective marketing plans
Work with external and internal design and development teams on creative development and review with stakeholders. Ability to design and develop copy for email creative if needed on ad hoc basis
Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across all email touchpoints in layout, design, links, subject lines, list segments and messaging copy. Manage process for proofing to ensure emails are accurate and deploy on time.
Manage the workflow and schedule for promotional email campaigns. Coordinate the end-to-end email production process for email deployments, including post-campaign analysis
Monitor, report and analyze key email metrics while proactively communicating opportunities, trends, key insights and challenges with team
Add retail store customer sign ups for local store email databases as needed
Bring new ideas to marketing team on how to increase email subscriber database counts. Support bringing ideas to life with suggestions on campaign timing, messaging and other key considerations
Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email and web execution
Collaborate with marketing team members to curate deeper stories or to leverage assets for communications. Influence content strategy by utilizing analytics to identify opportunity and fill content gaps
Develop and own overarching CRM content strategy and implementation including lifecycle, triggered, automation flows and enhanced personalization using segmentation
Translate CRM insights into actionable marketing plans and strategies
Collaborate across marketing cross-functional teams and support special projects as needed
Audit competitors' direct-to-consumer communication efforts
YOUR TRACK RECORD
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' email marketing experience. Agency experience is a plus. A solid skill set with HTML, CSS and experience deploying email campaigns through an ESP is key, as is strong knowledge of web analytics/reporting tools and experience using the data to develop and measure marketing programs. Of course a thorough grounding in best practices in email design, delivery and customer engagement is needed, along with a good understanding of CANSPAM and compliance in email. Excellent communication skills, of course!
