Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by leading design, creation and implementation of ERP software solutions on Microsoft Great Plains and eSuite integration assets to support financial, accounting and procurement workflows.


  • Meets with end users to define and document requirements, designs applications based on user needs, review existing software, and prepares cost/benefit analysis.

  • Develop interfaces between highly complex systems; Leverages GP Integration Manager and eOne Solutions suite of software (SmartConnect, SmartPost, etc.)

  • Investigates ERP functions and validates accounting/GL entries.

  • Devises, modifies and tests procedures to solve complex problems considering ERP capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

  • Devises, modifies and tests procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.

  • Creates technical solutions including design and programming as requested by business. Sets up required data conversion processes and tests program logic.

  • Design, develop, test, support and deploy interfaces with order management and financial systems

  • Defines systems scope, objectives and timelines for assigned projects.

  • Conducts appropriate analysis, makes design changes as needed, and verifies system performance.

  • Prepares detailed specifications and written drafts of instructions on how to operate various features of application systems.

  • Designs, develops and debugs custom application development from business owner requirements or technical specifications, on deadline.

  • Responsible for technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover, and implementation covering all technical aspects of the implementation lifecycle.

  • Writes custom interfaces to internal and external systems utilizing the latest industry technologies.

  • Installs and maintains the Microsoft Dynamics GP technology stack on a distributed server architecture.

  • Provides production support for all ERP applications, including after hours.

  • Customizes delivered functionality according to business needs and best practices.

  • Maintains a high level of security as it pertains to system access and usage, remote system access and physical security for ERP systems.

  • Adheres to Information Technology Change Management Policies and Procedures such as incident SLA and submitting appropriate change requests timely.

  • Documents custom development to the detail that other developers are able to implement the code

  • Leads root cause analysis in system operation and formulates solutions

  • Estimate system impact and work effort of potential customizations during evaluation sessions with customers

  • Identifies user requirements and translates them into functional specifications with an emphasis on leveraging delivered functionality with little customizations.

  • Assists functional team as a resource for questions about application functionality.

  • Rapidly troubleshoot priority production issues and communicate progress

  • Provides customer support within the priority and case closure standards as agreed to in the departmental Service Level Agreement documentation.

  • Responsible for reorganizing and restructuring data in a manner that will enhance the efficiency and needs of the user while optimizing system performance within the applications performance standards.

  • Complies with audit standards of HBH Information Technology and supports internal and external auditing by responding to requests.

  • Leads decisions involving data content, structure and organization.


Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related area and 5 years of current programming experience. 5+ years in software development, along with 3+ years' experience with database development and reporting tools, 3+ years' experience with ERPs specifically Microsoft 365/Dynamics GP, and 3+ Demonstrated experience in designing, documenting, testing, implementing complex client server based computer systems. In addition, we're looking for 3+ MS SQL programming and development using MS Access and SQL Server 2012 and up including complex T-SQL programming.
