We're looking for a Financial Analyst - Cost to join the team in our Alpharetta headquarters. Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by supporting the forecasting, analysis, and reporting Cost Of Goods Sold across all lines of business. This role will support the monthly COGS process, the inputs of the COGS forecasting models, and COGS reporting to the business. The Analyst will collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Supply Chain to assure accurate inventory/COGS system data and provide visibility into both the company's COGS results and the forward looking impact of cost changes on the business.

NOTE: We have a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES

• Month End

• Monthly COGS/Inventory entry "process"

• Sets standard costs and runs the multi-step MS Access process that calculates and post cogs to the GL

• Month end analytics data/reporting support

• provide data from MS Access process to research and review cogs results for the month

• Support monthly cogs reporting to Operations and Supply Chain

• Prepare and provide Monthly/Quarterly journal entries as a result of review and research

• Research/review inventory related invoices, as needed

• Monthly inventory cut-off analysis

• Forecasting/Analysis

• Cogs forecasting model data/inputs support (weekly, budget, forecast)

• Coordinate with Supply Chain on updated cost and market rate data/changes

• Update weekly based on forecasted ham rates and anticipated cost increases

• Update weekly based on packer freezer program reporting

• Support reporting summering impact of cost changes on the business

• Review/analysis of 1219 socialized freight for Franchise/Co-owned stores, including recommendations for rate changes

• Review/analysis of ham override rate for Franchisees, including recommendations for rate changes

• Support cogs financial reporting

• Cogs/Inventory Data Mgmt

• BOM/recipe/SKU setup/maintenance in Great Plains

• Inventory count reconciliation reporting

• Reconciliation of inventory accounts

• Coordinating with Operations and Supply Chain where needed

• Periodic review of invoices to assure billing/invoice aligns with contract terms

YOUR TRACK RECORD

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related or relevant work experience. CPA, CMA certification a plus

Minimum 5 years' experience in finance and/or accounting role. Strong understanding and experience with relational / multidimensional databases (MS Access, TM1, Essbase) and comfortable understanding, handling, and working with large and complex data sets. Development and management forecasting models, Business partnering to obtain forecasting inputs and assessing business impact. Cost Accounting background a plus. Great Plains, TM1, MS Access, SQL, MS Dynamics knowledge and experience a plus
