Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by providing financial support for both our Marketing and Product Development functions, the total company R&A and Marketing spend as well as pricing analytics. NOTE: our return to work plan will be a hybrid, with three days in the office and two days work from home.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Marketing and Product Development

  • Deliver accurate, timely, and complete monthly and annual reporting of financial results, including budgeting, forecasting, long range planning and actual performance for both the Marketing and Product Development Teams

  • Organize and evaluate quantitative data to identify and explain trends, problems, and root causes of variances to prior year, budget and forecast

  • Identify insights and suggest actionable recommendations to improve profitability and drive financial management with functional leadership

Marketing:

  • Responsible for total system financial and statistical analyses relating to Marketing spends

  • Collaborate and support marketing / sales team on tracking marketing campaigns and initiatives against budgets / forecasts

  • Work as a liaison between the business and accounting / finance to understand p&l line drivers, monthly accruals, etc.

  • Develop and analyze a robust R&A tool to assist in understanding the effectiveness of promotional spends and other discounting across all lines of business

  • Work with both the marketing team as well as store ops to understand various pricing tiers and ways to optimize profit

  • Adhoc projects / analysis to other groups and team members as needed.

Product Development:

  • Responsible for financial support as it relates to new product development; this role will assist the cross functional team in development of initial business cases, reporting and post mortem analytics

  • Develop reporting to support test products, LTOs etc.

  • Provide monthly reporting on performance against budget, prior year & forecasts for both SG&A as well as any capital spends

  • Adhoc projects / analysis to other groups and team members as needed.

YOUR TRACK RECORD

Bachelor's in finance/business administration or related. An MBA is a plus. 7+ years' experience within a consumer products or multi-unit environment.

Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment including both finance and non-finance partners.

Understanding of analysis concepts such as price/volume/margins, price elasticity, key metrics related to traffic/ticket/share of market/brand promotional scores as well as SG&A and project cost management.

eCommerce experience (especially food industry) ia a plus.

Great Plains, TM1, Essbase and NetSuite knowledge and experience a plus.
