The role provides process leadership and project management leadership for cross functional Research & Development and product development initiatives and owns continuous process improvement for the product commercialization cycle.


  • Manage the product development process for all approved projects, spanning new products, R&D projects, product cost reductions and other product changes

  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure key deliverables and timelines are being met.

  • Facilitate process for recipe, bill of material, product and distribution cost review.

  • Implement/execute product & process development activities (e.g. mockup, bench top, pilot plant, distribution testing, and internal/external factory testing) to achieve project goals and deadlines to delight the consumer & customer.

  • Lead, Scope, and Drive project team, utilizing project management tools, to achieve project goals and deadlines to delight the consumer & customer.

  • Maintain process documentation and project status

  • Develop and maintain projects plans for active R&D and development projects

  • Monitor process performance and develops processes for continuous process evaluation, stakeholder feedback, and process improvement.

  • Facilitate the development of Product Development budget and monthly tracking and reporting of expenses vs the plan.

  • Ensure adherence to all company standards including regulatory and financial guiderails.

  • Facilitate other project management assignments centered around supply chain process improvement.


3+ years' experience in a similar role. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Project management certification preferred. Exposure to and experience with R&D, development, and commercialization processes is critical - CPG, food industry, food retailing, or restaurant experience desired.

Some travel is involved - estimated to be no more than 25%
