We're looking for a Regional Sales Representative to join the team in our Atlanta headquarters. Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by developing and maintaining gifting and catering sales for Honey Baked Ham in the Atlanta region.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Conduct cold calls, prospect and qualify account opportunities and develop a pipeline of new opportunities.
Maintain relationships with current customers, while closing existing opportunities.
Build relationships at multiple levels within companies, understanding the role each person plays within the organization.
Develop a detailed territory plan for both year round catering, as well as the Gifting Season.
Develop individual account strategies to effectively penetrate accounts and a thorough understanding of each account's business.
Work closely with the General Managers in your territory.
YOUR TRACK RECORD:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1+ years with proven experience marketing and/or sales experience - ability to persuade others in
both positive or negative circumstances and communicate ideas and opinions with tact and professionalism.
Experience selling corporate catering and/or gifting solutions preferred but not required
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals. Strong solutions orientation, communication and listening skills!
Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
WHAT ELSE? Local travel!
The role requires a lot of travel (by car) within the Atlanta market, building relationships with customers and working closely with General Managers in our company owned stores.
