This position is responsible for digital marketing strategy, execution and optimization for all lines of business (retail, D2C, gifting and catering) on the website and across organic and paid media channels (social, search, video/CTV, display) marketing analytics, segmentation/CRM and HoneyBaked customer profile data to hit business objectives for retail and ecommerce channels as well as partnering to lead loyalty and cross-functional IT efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and work closely with our marketing, technology, and design teams in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and collaborate with Marketing Leadership, Operations, eCommerce, PR, and Product Development teams to develop, execute and optimize digital marketing plan across all lines of business (retail, D2C, gifting and retail) to hit annual key performance objectives

  • Lead, coach and mentor 3 direct reports overseeing and tailoring strategy for email, social/content creation and analytics

  • Lead digital paid media plan for retail and D2C businesses in partnership with third party agencies who manage digital media buy and digital media asset creation

  • Lead strategy for email through personalization, segmentation, triggered communications to increase channel performance as well as future project planning

  • Lead strategy for organic social and content creation through custom channel content to increase key demographic targets and overall engagement

  • Oversee digital analytics reporting including website performance, forecasting, and general reporting needs

  • Co-lead loyalty project planning, implementation and marketing strategy with loyalty project leaders

  • Responsible for all digital marketing IT projects and cross-functional IT partnership and collaboration on project plans, timing, testing and execution

  • Co-lead D2C seasonal catalog projects including planning, photography shoots, execution and editing to hit print deadlines

  • Partner with public relations agency of record to communicate relevant digital marketing plans/offers/etc. that have substantial PR value needing PR support

  • Write and present business cases to executive leadership on various omni-channel programs to create a frictionless customer experience

  • Strategize, communicate and get leadership approval on custom offers beyond Gold Pick Up days to increase sales and engagement across digital retail and D2C channels

  • Support SEO manager in setting SEO strategy

  • Facilitate communication with franchisees on local email, search and social best practices

  • Oversee and maintain digital marketing calendar for D2C, retail, social, and email across all aspects of the website including toast message, homepage banners, product listings, cart/checkout experiences

  • Track, report and analyze digital projects against business goals, objectives and key performance indicators to identify trends and insights for recommendations

  • Remain current on digital marketing and direct-to-consumer efforts for new releases, trends, best practices, and algorithm changes across social, search and competitors

YOUR TRACK RECORD

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field and 5+ years in Marketing --including Digital Marketing experience (Search Engines, Social Platforms, etc.). Previous experience leading and developing a team is important, as is experience managing paid media campaigns, social channels, email, and creative/content and with translating reporting and analytics into recommendations.

Proven success at improving organic rankings for websites, in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, and experience in managing multiple media channels and vendors will be critical for the role. In addition, this position will need sophisticated copywriting skills, exhibiting accuracy, eloquence and attention to detail.
