This position will engage with supply chain team technology users to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value - and must articulate those ideas but also balance them against what's technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable. The role will also have deep involvement working with data sets to improve data management and upkeep and ensure maximum data discipline. NOTE: this role will be a work from home position for the forseeable future, but will need to come into the Alpharetta HQ office as needed for meetings.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Acts as the technology resource for data maintenance and system functionality as it relates to Supply Chain Services.
Understands and masters current tools and identifies gaps in technological capabilities and applies solutions that improve efficiency across the Supply Chain and Direct to Consumer functions.
Define and document processes including both current state analysis and documentation/future state requirements building.
Assist in process flow and productivity improvements to increase efficiency across Supply Chain Services spanning the D2C and Retail functions as it relates to technology tools.
Assists in maintaining training manuals and process work flow. Updates when changes are made to functionality, tools or procedures.
Identify reporting needs/enhancements of department team members
Works closely with IT, Operations, and Supply chain teams on projects relating to technology improvements.
Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.
YOUR TRACK RECORD
3+ years of experience using and/or supporting technology tools in a supply chain or operations environment or deep experience using technology tools while in operational or supply chain line roles.
Working knowledge of Supply Chain technology tools (WMS, OMS, ERP, MRP) - Experience with Sharepoint and with Microsoft Great Plains preferred. Some experience in or working knowledge of large-scale food production/shipping/logistics/distribution environment. Basic Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills and bBasic Viseo or related software technology. Good analytical and problem solving skills along with strong communication/interpersonal skills. Passion for serving others through finding processes changes and technology tools that assist in improving performance.
