Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by demand planning and leading the supply portion of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for each line of business.

HoneyBaked has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days’ work from home.


  • Manage vendor pricing, purchase orders, production planning requirements and distribution planning of finished goods across the food service distributor and re-distributor network while achieving desired service, inventory, and total delivered cost targets.

  • Apply sound business judgment and facilitate robust cross-functional discussions to develop plans to be used by vendor, sourcing, distribution, and transportation functions as well as all lines of business (LOB’s) for planning, execution, and financial management, demand planning and leading the supply portion of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for each line of business.

  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop statistical inventory/supply planning models, and evaluate forecast results.

  • Leverage Microsoft Power BI or similar reporting software for reporting and data analytic requirements (experience preferred)

  • Interact with Retail and Franchise Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers across all Lines of Business (LOB’s).

  • Monitor demand, schedule attainment, and established, on-hand inventory targets to help provide timely inventory replenishment plans and make necessary schedule changes across the food service distributor network.

  • Execute vendor purchase orders as needed and monitor plan attainment across all vendors.

  • Manage planning calls as required for each Line of Business.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the demand planning process such as current process gap analysis, automation tool identification/implementation, and identification of main KPIs.

  • Deliver against annual Total Delivered Cost, inventory plans, and service level targets.

  • Improve plan performance by effectively analyzing sources of error and recommending appropriate corrective action plans.

  • Foster cross-functional discussion to improve the quality and interpretation of supply plans.

  • Lead supply chain product commercialization plan reviews inclusive of phase in/out strategies for promotional activities, new product introductions and product discontinuations.

  • Leverage the Supply Planning processes to develop Fiscal Year forecasts during the business planning cycles for all lines of business.

  • Coordinate efforts and direct communication when inventory levels are insufficient to cover demand due to finished goods or upstream raw material shortages.

  • Maintain vendor pricing in system to include communication across the distribution and re-distributor network.

  • Collaborate with HBH distribution team in resolving distributor price audit issues.


Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or related and 4+ years' experience within Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP or similar. Experience using Advanced Planning software tools and Microsoft Power BI strongly preferred. Consumer packaged goods experience a real plus.

Some travel is required - about 10% annually - and the ability to give longer hours to the role during peak periods throughout the year.
