Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fun and casual environment, pay it forward daily, and add value to the company by providing ongoing operational support training to all California based company-owned stores as needed. This includes in-person and virtual instructor led training, and will also assist with updates to operations tools and materials.

NOTE: This role is a remote position that requires 75% travel within the market - the successful candidate must be based in California to properly serve our stores.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:

  • Provides training support for new operational processes and initiatives and new project implementations.

  • Assists with Basic Management Training (BMT) program by providing on-site supplemental training and facilitating touch-base phone calls with all new management trainees; assists with tracking BMT completions.

  • Partners with Regional and District Managers to assist with operational training needs.

  • Provides additional support to newly hired and promoted General Managers through their first holiday, including in-store support during peak holiday.

  • Participates on Training Council.

  • Administers and assists with Training Store Manager Certifications.

  • Provides continuous improvement feedback on operational processes and training programs.

  • Assists with onboarding of new multi-unit leaders by supplementing their operational training.

  • Provides operational training during new store openings, and provides operational support during store opening week.

  • Participates on HEAT team and other operations projects as needed. Presents at district HEAT meetings.

  • Assists with leading Front of House and Back of House Holiday Training sessions, including district Colleges and store training sessions as needed.

  • Perform product evaluations during store visits to reinforce training, product quality and store culture.

YOUR TRACK RECORD

3+ years of HoneyBaked management experience and a demonstrated knowledge and command of HoneyBaked operational procedures and existing HoneyBaked training programs. Associate's degree with major in business related field; bachelor's degree a plus.

  • Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Excel, MS Outlook, and Word.

  • ServSafe Certified.

  • ServSafe Proctor (to complete QA training for new managers in the market)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and must be highly detail oriented

WHAT ELSE TO KNOW?

Travel up to 75% required within the California market. Role will require long hours at holiday periods.
